Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are and What This Policy Covers

70aitools.com is an independent website that publishes browser-based AI writing tools and editorial guides about content, SEO and scriptwriting. This policy explains what information the site collects, why we collect it, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

By using this website you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the site.

2. Information You Give Us

You do not need an account to use the free tools. We only receive personal information when you choose to provide it.

Tool input: when you use one of the writing tools, the text you paste or type (for example a topic, an outline, a draft or a product description) is sent to our server so that the tool can generate a result. That text is processed in order to produce your output and is not published on the site.

Direct contact: if you email us or use the feedback form, we receive your email address and the content of your message.

3. Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers record standard technical data when a page is requested. This can include your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the referring page, the pages you visit, the time of your visit, and a coarse location (country or city level) derived from your IP address.

This data is used in aggregate to keep the site available, to understand which pages are useful, and to detect abusive traffic such as scraping or automated requests. We do not use it to build a profile of you as an identifiable individual.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to: deliver the tool output you asked for; keep the site secure and prevent abuse; understand how the site is used so that we can improve the tools and articles; respond to messages you send us; and comply with legal obligations.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request (when you use a tool), our legitimate interests in operating and improving a free website, and your consent where it is required — for example, for advertising cookies.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. This site uses as few cookies as possible.

Essential cookies: we set a language preference cookie (i18n_redirected) so that the site remembers which language you chose, and the site may use similar local storage to remember interface state. These are needed for the site to work as expected.

Analytics: we use Ahrefs Analytics, which is designed to measure aggregate page views without relying on third-party advertising cookies or cross-site profiling.

We also use Baidu Tongji (百度统计) for aggregate traffic statistics. It stores a visitor identifier cookie named HMACCOUNT on Baidu’s own domain, and first-party cookies on our domain named Hm_lvt_… and Hm_lpvt_… which record when a visit starts and the time of the current page view, so that unique visitors and visits can be counted.

Advertising: Google AdSense is used to display advertisements on this site. Advertising cookies are set by Google and its partners, not by us. See section 6 for details and for the opt-out links.

You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, some parts of the site — such as remembering your language — may not work correctly.

6. Advertising and Third-Party Cookies (Google AdSense)

This website displays advertising through Google AdSense in order to keep the free tools and articles available.

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

Google also uses the DoubleClick cookie, a third-party advertising cookie, to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of the use of the DoubleClick cookie for interest-based advertising by using the Google Ads Settings link below.

These cookies allow Google and its partners to show you advertising that is more likely to be relevant to you. They are set and controlled by those third parties. We do not have access to, and cannot control, the cookies or the data collected by third-party advertisers.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time:

• Google Ads Settings — opt out of personalized advertising from Google.

• www.aboutads.info — the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page for participating vendors.

• www.youronlinechoices.com — the European interactive advertising opt-out page.

If you opt out, you will still see advertisements, but they will no longer be tailored to your previous browsing activity.

Where local law requires consent before advertising cookies are set — for example for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland — that consent is collected through the consent mechanism provided by Google for advertising served on this site. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Google Ads Settings link above.

Third-party vendors and ad networks may also use web beacons or similar technologies to measure the effectiveness of an advertisement. Their data practices are governed by their own privacy policies, not by this one.

For details of how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites that use our services.

For details of the cookies Google uses in advertising, see Google's advertising technologies.

7. Third-Party Services We Rely On

Hosting: this site is served as static pages through Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical request data in order to deliver content and protect against attacks — Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Analytics: Ahrefs Analytics provides aggregate traffic statistics — Ahrefs Privacy Policy.

Analytics: Baidu Tongji (百度统计) provides additional aggregate traffic statistics — Baidu Privacy Policy.

Advertising: Google AdSense serves the advertisements on this site — Google Privacy Policy.

Payments: where a paid option is offered, payment is processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on and handled by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card number — Stripe Privacy Policy.

Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them.

8. How Long We Keep Information

We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, and then delete or anonymise it. Retention periods depend on the type of data and the reason it is held. Aggregate analytics data, for example, is kept in aggregated form, and correspondence is kept only as long as is needed to handle your request and any follow-up.

If you would like to know how long a particular category of data is retained, please contact us using the details in section 12.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; ask us to correct it; ask us to delete it; restrict or object to certain processing; receive a copy in a portable format; and withdraw consent that you previously gave.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 12. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and we may need to verify your request before acting on it.

California residents: we do not sell personal information. You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.

If you believe we have handled your information unlawfully, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

10. International Transfers

We operate a global website, and the service providers listed in section 7 may store or process data in countries other than the one in which you live. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards those providers have put in place, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

11. Children's Privacy

This site is intended for content creators, marketers and other professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where the law of your country sets that age).

If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy and How to Contact Us

We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date shown at the top of this page always reflects the latest revision, and material changes will be signalled on the site.

Questions, requests or complaints about privacy can be sent to us through the feedback button on this site, or to the contact address shown on our About page.
