About this tool

Paste a paragraph you are not happy with and get it back in the tone you need. A stiff internal memo can become a readable update, a hedged email can become a direct one, and a rambling paragraph can be cut down to its actual claim. Facts, figures and names are held fixed; what changes is the wording, the rhythm and how much hedging the sentence carries.

How to use it

  1. 1Paste the passage you want rewritten.
  2. 2Choose a tone, and whether the result should be shorter, the same length or longer.
  3. 3Run it and compare with the original, then copy the version you want.

Frequently asked questions

Is this how you get around a plagiarism check?

No, and it is the wrong tool for that. Rewriting someone else's work closely enough to pass a similarity check is still using their work, and swapping synonyms does not create an original argument. Use this on text you wrote yourself when the delivery is the problem, not the content.

What does the confident tone actually change?

It removes hedging: expressions like possibly, perhaps, we might want to consider and it could be argued that. Hedging has a legitimate use — when you genuinely are uncertain — so check the result does not start asserting things your original was careful about. That is the one change in this tool that can alter meaning, and it is deliberate.

Will a shorter version lose detail?

The instruction is to cut filler, redundancy and repetition while keeping every distinct fact, which is what a good human editor does first. If a number or a caveat disappears, run it again — the model is not deterministic, and a second attempt usually keeps it.
