About this tool
A small set of edits that covers most everyday image fixes: rotate in 90 degree steps, flip horizontally or vertically, resize by percentage, round the corners and draw a border with the colour you want. The preview and the exported file come from the same canvas, so what you see is exactly what you get.
How to use it
- 1Drop an image, or click to choose one from your device.
- 2Adjust rotation, scale, corner radius and border until the preview looks right.
- 3Download the result as PNG or JPEG.
Frequently asked questions
What does the corner radius value mean?
The slider works in pixels and is clamped to half of the shorter side, which is the point where the shape becomes a full circle or oval. Combine it with the transparent background option to get a rounded PNG with no square corners.
Does resizing down lose quality?
Reducing an image always discards pixels, and that is unavoidable. This tool uses the browser's highest-quality smoothing when it does, which is the same resampling used by professional software for a single downscale step.
Why does the transparent background option do nothing on JPEG?
JPEG cannot store transparency, so a transparent background is impossible in that format. When you export as JPEG the tool fills the area with white instead, and it tells you so before you download.
