About this tool
Turn a snapshot taken against a white or plain wall into a presentable product image. The tool traces the background inwards from the edges of the frame, fits what is left onto a square canvas with the padding you choose, and can add a soft drop shadow. Because the background is removed by colour tracing rather than a trained model, the edges stay hard and accurate on studio-style photos — and the whole thing runs instantly with nothing to download.

Frequently asked questions
Why does it not work on my photo?
This tool traces a background whose colour is clearly different from the product and reaches the edges of the frame. Busy scenes, wooden tables, patterned cloth or a background that touches the product at similar colours will confuse it. For those, use the Background Remover tool, which runs a trained model instead.
How do I get the cleanest edges?
Increase the tolerance until the background is fully gone, but stop before holes start appearing inside the product. Add a little edge softness afterwards to blend the two, which removes the stair-stepping that hard colour tracing leaves on curved outlines.
Is the shadow a real effect or a sticker?
It is generated from your actual cut-out: the subject silhouette is blurred and darkened, then drawn underneath. So the shadow follows the exact shape of the product. If your browser cannot blur a canvas, the tool skips the shadow rather than drawing a fake hard-edged one.
